Pet Boarding Service

We now offer a boarding service for your pets. We will look after rabbits, guinea pigs, and all exotic caged birds and not just those that have been purchased from us. Please enquire about available dates as we do get quite busy during school holiday periods. To find out if we have a vacancy please either email us or telephone 01851 850776 during normal office hours. You will need to download our booking form here. (right click and choose save target as). This will need to be completed in full and presented to us on arrival together with your vaccination certificates, see below.

There is no need to bring any equipment or bedding as everything is provided, though the pets favourite toys are most welcome. To ensure that your pet is not unduly stressed we ask that you provide their normal dried food. Obviously with a caged bird you will have to bring their cage too.

Vaccinations  (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs)

All rabbits must be vaccinated for VHD and a valid certificate produced. Myxomatosis, though not required, is strongly advised. Your vet will be able to advise you on a suitable vaccination programme. We cannot board your rabbit unless this is produced as we will not put at risk our own rabbits or other rabbits we are boarding.

Accommodation (Rabbits, Guinea Pigs)

They will be housed in one of our cages with other rabbits close by. The building is never empty so that they have plenty to keep them occupied. If you prefer we can use there own cage as well, just bring it along.

Pets from different families are never mixed but they are able to see other animals from their hutch. The building is never empty so they are never alone.

Medium Rabbits e.g. Netherland Dwarf up to Lop Eared as well as Guinea Pigs

One Animal per Hutch £3.00/day

Two Animals per Hutch £3.60/day

Three Animals per hutch £4.25/day

Large Rabbits e.g. French Lops, Rex, Flemish Giants

One Animal per Hutch £4.00/day

If you do not supply food for your pet than this is charged at an additional £1.00 per day per animal. This will include fresh food as well as Chudleys Rabbit Royale.

Small Caged Birds e.g. Finches, Budgies, Canaries, Lovebirds, Cockatiels, etc

1 Cage £2.00/day

Medium Caged Birds e.g. African Greys, Ringnecks, etc

1 Cage £2.50/day

Large Caged Birds e.g. Cockatoo, Macaw, etc

1 Cage £3.00/day

Specialist Bird that requires hand feeding etc

1 Cage £POA/day

NOTES

These prices are inclusive of drop off and collection days and must be paid in full at time of collection. We regret that we cannot accept credit/debit or switch card payments.
